Solva, (Solfach), is an idyllic, picturesque fishing village and harbour situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park, just three miles east of the City of St David’s, the smallest city in the UK and twelve miles north of the main market town of Haverfordwest.

For those wishing to unwind and relax, Solva offers the peace and tranquillity of miles of breathtaking coastal paths and secluded beaches.  


For those wanting a more active holiday, there are a number of renowned surfing beaches and plenty of opportunities for canoeing, boating, sailing and pony-trekking.  Fishing and boating trips are also available locally.


Pembrokeshire is famed for its beautiful countryside, magnificent beaches and the 200 miles of coastal paths.  There is also a plethora of historical and archaeological sites, castles, and churches in the county.  


The general store, which is also a part-time post office, is situated on the main road in Upper Solva.  Lower Solva, with its attractive multi-coloured cottages, shops and galleries also has a number of pubs, restaurant and cafes.  The cottages are ideally placed in between Upper and Lower Solva.
