Booking Conditions

The Fort Cottages are let from Friday to Friday and are available from 4:00pm on the day of occupancy.
To allow sufficient cleaning time between lettings, we ask our customers to vacate the premises by 10 am on the day of departure.
Although each cottage is cleaned to a high standard between lets, please note that we do expect the properties to be left in a tidy and reasonable condition. If furniture is moved, we kindly ask you to put it back it its original place.
The cottages cater for a maximum of 4 persons each.
The steep, open staircase inside and the proximity of the cottages to the cliffs and sea, render them unsafe for babies and young children.
Persons with disabilities may have difficulties with the original, steep ship’s staircase. (Please see the photographs in the gallery)
For the benefit of all our customers, we operate a no-smoking policy within the cottages.
Minor breakages will not be charged for, but please advise us so that we can replace the items for the convenience of other clients.
The owners and managers do not accept liability for any personal injury or theft during the period of your stay.
If for any reason the cottage you booked is not available on the occupancy day, a full refund will be provided without question and every effort will be made to find alternative accommodation.
Please notify Nadia Bowie of any problems encountered during your stay, so that they can be swiftly addressed.
The managers retain right of access to the property in case of emergency.
It is recommended that you take out holiday insurance to cover the event of cancellation. Refunds will not be payable unless the cottage is successfully re-let.
